Traditional Style LomiLomi is a combination of 3 traditions of Lomilomi from Aunty Margaret Machado, Papa K Kepilino, and Kahu Sam Lomo as passed down from Aunty Suzi Kawaioni‘okekai Kaiona‘okaláni Ko.

Intro to History and Culture - September 19 - 20th
The "Introduction to History and Culture" segment of the Traditional Style Lomilomi class explores the origins and cultural significance of this sacred Hawaiian healing art. Students will learn about its deep-rooted connection to Hawaiian spirituality, the role of practitioners in Hawaiian communities, and be introduced to the gods, goddesses, and connection between Lomi and Hula.
September 19 and 20, 9 AM - 5 PM
In person lecture, bring a lunch, and supplies for note taking. We will take an hour break for lunch.

Traditional Style Lomilomi Bodywork- September 21 - 23rd
Deep yet gentle, TSL course teaches you to work with what you find, using long, rhythmic strokes, coming from foot/hip work that reflects the steps of the hula.
In person classes:
Monday September 21st, 1:30 PM - 7 PM
Tuesday September 22nd, 9 AM - 5 PM
Wednesday September 23rd, 9 AM- 5 PM
Each day we will break for lunch for 30-45 min. Plan for light meals, nothing large and heavy.
